Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for an immediate 13-week contract opening with an Acute Care / Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. This role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Perform diagnostic imaging examinations with precision, strict adherence to ALARA, and radiation safety protocols.
✔ Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care.
✔ Accurately record, verify, and maintain patient imaging data and electronic medical records.
✔ Safely operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot diagnostic imaging systems and related equipment.

Qualifications
✔ Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related discipline.
✔ Licensure & Certifications:
✔ Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License required
✔ Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required
✔ ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification preferred
✔ Experience: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist in an acute care setting.
✔ Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques, protocols, and CT knowledge.
✔ Soft Skills: Exceptional patient care bedside manner, effective team communication, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
