Diagnostic Radiologist – Remote Evening Coverage – California

Schedule
• Weekdays: 3p–12a or 5p–12a
• Weekends: 3p–12a
• Evening shifts are 9 hours
• Minimum of two weekend evening shifts preferred

Work Details
• Average volume: 120–130 reads per shift
• Can reach up to 150 reads on higher-volume shifts
• Mix of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films
• Higher concentration of CT and plain films
• No nuclear medicine
• No cardiac imaging
• No breast imaging

Coverage Expectations
• Radiologist may be solo from 6p–12a during evening shifts
• Must be comfortable reading all studies that come through during that time
• Emergency department coverage included
• Occasional pediatric trauma cases possible

Facility
• Hospital setting
• Department: Radiology
• Remote coverage for a California hospital system
• EMR: Epic

Requirements
• Board Certified Radiologist
• Active, unrestricted California license
• DEA required
• BLS or ACLS required
• Minimum 1 year diagnostic radiology experience
• Epic experience required

Important Credentialing Requirement
• Clean malpractice and background history required
• Candidates with any malpractice or background hits will not be considered due to credentialing restrictions
