Remote Radiology needed in California

Job description

•Location: Long Beach, CA
• Start Date: 12/1/2026
•Contract Length: 13+ weeks
• Schedule:
- Weekdays (Remote)
o Evenings: 3p-12a (9 hours) - also 5p-12a
- Weekends (Remote)
o 3p-12a (9 hours)

Schedule Details:
• If they are working 3 pm to 12 am, he will be working solo during the 6 pm to 12 am stretch. Needs to be able to read everything that comes in during the shift.
• Also, since they will be covering the emergency department, there could be pediatric trauma to read. Please make sure providers know this and is comfortable doing so.
• The evening shift is 9 hours—the typical volume is 120 to 130 reads per shift, but they’ve done as much as 150

Work Details:
• Diagnostic radiologists read an average of 130-140 per weekday, up to 150 on weekends per shift.
• Cases: Mix of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films. It will be a good mix of each, heavier on the CT and plain films. No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast. We prefer a body imager. If they can do prostate reads.

Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d: Yes
• State License(s): Yes, Unrestricted CA
• Certifications: BLS or ACLS
• CSR Req’d: No
• DEA Req’d: Yes
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30+ Days - 14 days with emergency privs
