Locum - Physician - Radiology needed in The Villages, FL

Target Rate: $250/hr
Shift Type: Overnight (Nights)
Schedule: 7-on / 7-off


POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with an active FL license and DEA registration to join our locum team. This remote position focuses on reading CT perfusion and MRI spine studies, with a subspecialty mix including:

Musculoskeletal (MSK)

Mammography Screens & Diagnostic Procedures

Neuroimaging

Daily Volume Expectations (per 8-hr shift):

Studies: 90–100

wRVUs: 60–70


Work Schedule:

Overnight shifts (Night)

Weekend coverage as required

On-call requirements per shift schedule


RESPONSIBILITIES

Interpret XR, CT, MR, and US imaging studies accurately and efficiently

Provide timely reports for multiple subspecialty cases

Maintain compliance with all regulatory and institutional guidelines

Ensure quality assurance standards are met for all imaging studies


REQUIREMENTS

Board Certification: Required

Active Florida Medical License: Required

DEA Registration: Required

NPDB Self-Query Report: Mandatory and dated within 30 days of submission

Minimum experience in CT perfusion and MRI spine interpretation
