Mammography Radiologist Locum in Leesburg, FL | High Pay + Long-Term

Job description

We are seeking a Board Certified Radiologist with strong Mammography experience for a locum tenens opportunity at UF Health Leesburg Hospital in Florida.

Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- No call required
- Full-time, ongoing coverage
- Start Date: ASAP

Work Details:
- Practice setting: Hospital-based Radiology department
- Required onsite coverage
- Case mix includes:
• Mammography (screening and diagnostic)
• MSK
• Neuro
• General Radiology

Modalities:
- X-ray (XR)
- CT
- MRI
- Ultrasound (US)
- Fluoroscopy

Volume:
- 90–100 reads per 8-hour shift
- Approximately 70 wRVUs per shift

Responsibilities:
- Read all assigned modalities
- Maintain productivity standards
- Participate in full diagnostic radiology workflow

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Radiology (Required)
- Must be proficient in Mammography and General Radiology
- Ability to read MSK and Neuro studies preferred
- Active license or willingness to obtain

Credentialing:
- 30–60 days
- Client assists with licensing if applicable

Performance Expectations:
- Productivity target: ~70 wRVUs per shift
- Performance is monitored
- Providers not meeting standards may receive a 15-day notice period with potential contract reinstatement if performance improves

Additional Information:
- All-inclusive onsite rate
- Holiday pay: +$125/hr
- Minimum 40 hours/month required
- Providers must maintain consistent schedule availability
