Onsite General Radiologist – Light IR & Fluoroscopy

Job description

We are seeking an onsite General Radiologist to provide coverage for Southlake and Northlake locations in Indiana. The ideal physician will have strong general diagnostic radiology skills, experience with light interventional radiology and fluoroscopy, and additional expertise in Body, Musculoskeletal (MSK), or Neuro Radiology.

Physicians must be comfortable cross-reading diagnostic studies outside their primary subspecialty when needed.

Merrillville, Indiana

Onsite coverage supporting Southlake & Northlake locations.

Schedule & Work Environment
Onsite radiology coverage
7 days per week
8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
Coverage includes major holidays
No on-call responsibilities
No floating required
Expected productivity: approximately 65 RVUs per shift
RPCE technology stack
Telehealth experience is not required
Academic medical center experience is not required

Clinical Responsibilities
General diagnostic radiology
Light interventional radiology
Fluoroscopy
Approximately 50% additional subspecialty coverage
Body, MSK, or Neuro Radiology preferred
Cross-reading diagnostic studies as needed

Requirements
Indiana medical license required
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
Clean professional and legal history required
No unresolved licensing or legal issues
No malpractice history, including dismissed cases
Must be comfortable performing general diagnostic reads in addition to subspecialty work
Fellowship training is not required
Prior travel/locums experience preferred
