Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Dubuque, Iowa. This position provides on-site radiology coverage within an established multispecialty healthcare organization.

The role offers a predictable schedule of approximately 2 days per month, with no weekends or call. The physician will primarily work with an adult and geriatric patient population, with a small pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site diagnostic radiology coverage

• Perform and interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies

• Perform fluoroscopy examinations and procedures

• Provide consultations to providers and clinical staff

• Support MSK imaging and procedures

• Interpret MRI and CT imaging

• Interpret pediatric and general ultrasound studies

• Perform fluoroscopy procedures including UGI, esophagrams, lumbar punctures, sniff tests, and fluoroscopy-guided joint injections

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Approximately 2 days per month

• No weekends or call

Patient Volume

• Approximately 15–20 cases per day

• Primarily adult and geriatric patients

• Small pediatric population

Support

The radiologist will work alongside certified radiology technologists, ultrasonographers, and mammography technologists.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Radiology

• Active Iowa medical license preferred

• IMLC Letter of Qualification may be considered
