Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist for a long-term locum opportunity supporting a float pool across multiple Adventist HealthCare locations in the Rockville, Maryland area. This is an excellent opportunity for providers looking for consistent weekday coverage with shared call responsibilities.

Assignment Highlights
Full-time locum assignment
Approximately 6-month contract
Float between multiple Adventist HealthCare locations
Monday–Friday schedule
Weeknight and weekend call required
Approximately 10 shifts per month
Full travel provided
90-day credentialing timeframe
Clinical Responsibilities
Patient rounds
Joint aspirations
Thyroid biopsies
Lumbar punctures
CTA peripheral studies
Vascular ultrasound (excluding venous/carotids)
Renal, mesenteric, liver, and aortic Dopplers
Venous insufficiency studies
Vein mapping
Dialysis graft procedures
Specialty consults
Limited remote interpretation of vascular and CTA studies
Volume
Hospital: Approximately 10–15 procedures per day
Outpatient Center: Approximately 8–13 procedures per day
Call Details
Shared weekday evening and weekend call
Typical call-ins are infrequent (approximately once every few weeks)
15-minute phone response time
Ability to arrive onsite within 60 minutes when needed
Requirements
Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
Active Maryland medical license
DEA required
Maryland CSR required
BLS certification required
Comfortable working across multiple locations
