Locum Tenens Diagnostic / Interventional Radiologist – Jefferson City, Missouri

Location: Jefferson City, Missouri – Capital Region Medical Center, with potential coverage at MU Health Care in Columbia

Schedule: 10 shifts per month | Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts | No weekends | No call

Start: November 2026

Duration: Approximately 6 months

Goldfish Locums is seeking a Diagnostic and/or Interventional Radiologist for an on-site locum tenens assignment with the University of Missouri. Most coverage will be at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, with possible coverage at the main MU Hospital in Columbia.

The workload is expected to be approximately 80–90% Diagnostic Radiology and 10–20% light Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate is a Diagnostic Radiologist who is comfortable performing light IR procedures such as lumbar punctures, myelograms, paracentesis, thoracentesis and similar image-guided procedures.

Highlights

· Flexible schedule – two consecutive weeks per month, every other week, or another arrangement totaling 10 shifts per month

· Monday–Friday, 8-hour daytime shifts

· No weekends and no call

· Hospital-based, on-site assignment

· Cerner EMR

· Approximately 6 months of coverage

· Missouri license preferred; other qualified radiologists may be considered

· Board-certified radiologists strongly preferred / expected

Candidate profile: Diagnostic Radiology or Interventional Radiology; strongest priority for DR physicians who can handle light IR. Provider should be comfortable working in a community hospital environment and collaborating with the MU Health Care radiology team.
