Job description

We’re partnering with a large health system in South Carolina seeking Interventional Radiology locum coverage starting March 16, 2026. This is a 24-hour call-based assignment with consistent volumes, strong support staff, and flexibility across multiple sites.
Assignment Overview
• Coverage Type: 24-hour call
• Schedule: 5 days per week
o On-site Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p
o Call coverage 5:00p–8:00a + weekends
• Call Structure: Split between 3–4 radiologists
• Start Date: March 16, 2026
• Setting: Inpatient & outpatient
• Practice Type: Interventional Radiology

Clinical Details
• Average Volume: ~5–6 procedures per weekday
• Patient Population: Adults
• Support Staff: IR technologists and NPs
• EMR: Cerner
• Float: May float between facilities; primary worksite is outside the main medical center

Requirements
• Board Certified Interventional Radiologist
• Active South Carolina license required
• BLS & ACLS
• DEA
• Clean malpractice history

Credentialing & Logistics
• Credentialing timeline: Approximately 90–120 days
• Vaccinations: Required
• IMLC: Not accepted
• Travel: Fully covered
