Rheumatology Locum Need in Pennsylvania

Position Overview

Specialty: Rheumatology
Provider Type: MD or DO
Start Date: August 1, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding
Clinical Focus:

Balanced outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
Average clinic volume 16–18 patients per day
Injections and aspirations preferred, not required


Support Staff: Dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) and Medical Assistant (MA)
Travel: Full travel coverage provided (airfare, lodging, rental car)


Schedule and Coverage

Clinic Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Clinic visits 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Inpatient rounding 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM


Night Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Call: 1:7 rotation

Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
24‑hour call coverage

Provider Requirements

Board Certification: Required
Licensure:

Active state license preferred
IMLC candidates accepted (LOQ required at submission)


Certifications: BLS, ACLS
DEA: Required
