Job Overview
Atlanta Spine Surgery Center seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead and oversee nursing operations within our ambulatory surgical center. In this vital role, you will coordinate patient care, supervise staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and promote a culture of excellence in patient outcomes. Duties
Lead and manage the team, ensuring optimal staffing levels and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Oversee patient assessments, medical documentation, and clinical procedures.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, long-term care regulations, and ASC policies related to patient safety and quality standards.
Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes.
Supervise the use of our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, Athena Health for accurate medical records and documentation.
Monitor clinical performance metrics including vital signs assessment, medication administration accuracy, ICD coding accuracy (ICD-9/ICD-10), and nursing policy compliance.
Qualifications
Valid RN license with current state registration; prior nurse management or leadership experience required.
Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to diverse patient populations.
Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient care; excellent managerial communication skills essential.
Ability to perform clinical duties such as phlebotomy, sterile processing techniques, suturing, and basic life support certification required.
