Locums Opportunity – Orthopedic Surgeon (Neuro/Spine Experience) - Outpatient Clinic

Specialty: Orthopedics – Neuro/Spine
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing

Assignment Details

Schedule: 1 day per week to start – very flexible

Coverage Needed: ~4 shifts per month

Practice Setting: Outpatient private practice clinic

Credentialing: Active South Carolina license required

Support Staff: PAs, NPs, Physiatrist, Pain Anesthesiologist, RN

Patients per Day: ~25–30 (new patients included)

Patient Population: Primarily adult (minimal pediatrics)

Procedures Performed:

Epidurals, facet injections, cortisone injections (optional, based on comfort level)

Joint injections, spine evaluations, fracture care helpful

Technology: Imaging via PACS system, C-arm access available


Requirements

Board Certification: Orthopedic Surgery (with Neuro/Spine experience)

Licensure: Active SC license required (dual SC/NC preferred)

DEA: Active SC DEA required

Experience: Spine or neurosurgical background strongly preferred
