Will License- Locums Ortho (non-surgical) NP/PA Needed in Athens, OH

Job description

Specialty: Orthopedic NP
Contract Length: 60 - 90 days
Shift Details: 8 am – 4:30 pm
Schedule: Tues/Thurs (possible Friday 8am- 3pm)
Work Details: Seeing New and established non-emergent acute fracture care, cortisone joint injections, Visco Supplementation injections, acute/chronic pain Orthopedic/Sports Medicine evaluations.
· Support Staff: MA, LPN, AT, Clinical lead, Front desk lead, Practice manager
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 2-3 days per week
· Patients per day: 25-30
· Patient Population/Age: 13-90+
· Department Description: Orthopedic/Sports Medicine
· EMR: Epic
· Hospital Bed size: 144
· Special Procedures: non-surgical
· Skills Required: Fracture evaluation and management, evaluation of acute and chronic pain of orthopedic/sports medicine injuries/conditions, performing large and small joint injections/aspirations, medication prescriptions/management
Practice Setting: Clinic/Private Practice

Requirements:
· License Required: Will license
· DEA: Yes
· Certifications Preferred: CAQSM
· Minimum Experience Required: 3 years
Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP
