Need: Locum Orthopedic Surgeon – General Orthopedics
Job Type: Full-Time Locum, approximately 6-month assignment (more or less while recruit for perm)
Schedule: 8-hr shifts, Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p (lunch 12-1)
Call: Shared call rotation

Setting: Critical Access Hospital NOT a level one trauma center.

Job Summary
Seeking a Locum Orthopedic Surgeon to provide general orthopedic coverage while we recruit for a permanent physician. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive rural healthcare system with an established referral base and a collaborative multidisciplinary team. We are seeking a true general orthopedic surgeon who is comfortable caring for a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly within an aging population.

The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating and treating:
• Joint Replacement++ – Hip, Knee and Shoulder are a requirement++
• Common hand conditions, including trigger finger and carpal tunnel syndrome – preferred, but not required.
• Comfort managing and consulting on spine and back pain is highly preferred.

This position includes a mix of clinic, surgery, and call responsibilities.
• OR on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Clinic on Tuesday and Fridays
• 10-days of call per month
