📋 Job Description:
A Nurse Practitioner with strong ICU experience is needed for a 13+ week contract beginning June 2, 2025 at a high-acuity acute care facility in California. This is a day-shift only role with 3x12s per week, averaging 36 hours and rotating weekend shifts (typically 1 in 3). You’ll join a robust ICU team caring for advanced heart failure patients, ECMO/VAD support, and surgical liver transplant patients.

Key Details:
Full-time, 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p), rotating weekends

Two ICU services:

Advanced Heart Failure/Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU (VAD/ECMO)

Liver Transplant & SICU

Must be confident managing critically ill surgical patients

Procedural skills (preferred): intubation, central/arterial line placement

EMR: EPIC

No housing/travel provided (rate is all-inclusive)

Requirements:
CA State License (no licensing support)

ACNP or AGACNP required

BLS, ACLS, DEA (CSR preferred but not required)

2+ years of ICU NP experience required

Board Certification required

• Critical Care Expertise Required: Manage complex patients post-cardiothoracic surgery, ECMO, VAD, and transplant
• Premier Facility & Team: Join a highly specialized inpatient ICU service with rotating weekend coverage
• Procedural Edge: Intubations, lines, and advanced ICU interventions strongly valued (though not required)
