Facility:
This is a large, 979-bed non-profit community hospital and the only Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis County, serving over 90,000 emergency visits and 1,800 trauma activations annually. The facility features 30 operating rooms with designated acute care block and trauma room, as well as a robust Interventional Radiology service, providing an outstanding environment for trauma and surgical critical care professionals.

Opportunity:
Physician - Surgery - Trauma, Surgery - Surgical Critical Care

Job Details:

• Provide locum tenens coverage for trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and ICU/Critical Care surgery across day and night shifts
• Coverage needed for 2 additional FTEs, open to multiple candidates who can collectively fill the required shifts
• Very busy service line with nearly 2,000 trauma activations annually
• Fellowship training required in Surgical Critical Care
• Board certification required - minimum certification level is Certified
• Active Missouri medical license or IMLC required to be eligible
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days
• Locum Tenens engagement with an immediate start needed
