Outpatient Breast Surgery APP Needed in CA

Location: San Francisco, CA

Start Date: 9/8/25
Contract Length: 6 months, possibility to extend
Shift Details: 4x10
Schedule: Full Time
Call requirements: No Call

Work Details:
• Support staff: RNs, MAs, NPs
• Amount of coverage needed per month:
• Patients per day: Indepent clinic 10-12, supporting surgeon in clinic 20-25
• Patient population/age: Adults and sometimes adolescents
• Department description: Predominantly breast cancer patients, reconstruction patients
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital bed size:
• Special procedures: expansions, wound care, kenalog injections, wound vacs
• Skills required:

Practice Setting:
• Academic/Training

Requirements:
• Board Certification: If NP must have: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
IF PA: Must have a master’s degree in physician assistant studies
• License required: Yes, CA
• DEA: Yes, required with Schedule 2
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required:
o 3 years outpatient surgical experience required
o Breast specific and/or plastic surgery experience strongly preferred

Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
