Locum APP – Surgical Oncology (Hepatobiliary/Pancreatic)

Monday–Friday

Inpatient coverage

Licensing

Minnesota license preferred for quick start

NPs without MN license will be considered

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for HPB surgical oncology patients

Coordinate pre- and post-operative care in collaboration with surgeons

Round on hospitalized patients and manage ongoing treatment plans

Assist in the operating room as needed, including patient prep and closure

Perform procedures such as wound care and drain management/removal

Order and interpret diagnostic studies in collaboration with attending physicians

Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice

Educate patients and families throughout the treatment process

Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams and serve as a clinical resource

Qualifications

NP or PA with surgical oncology experience preferred

HPB experience strongly preferred

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
