Surgical Oncology / General Surgery PA needed in California

Job description

Opportunity Highlights:

Start Date: June 8, 2026

End Date: August 17, 2026

Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time coverage (8–10 weeks)

Inpatient/OR: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (Wednesday = block day for major cases)

Clinic: Tuesday & Friday (approx. 8am–5pm, often ending earlier)

No call required

Work Details:

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

Specialty: Surgical Oncology / General Surgery

Patients per shift: 4–15

EMR: Epic

Strong OR and first assist experience required

Must be comfortable working independently and managing patient calls

Support staff available

Requirements:

Board Certified PA (NPs will not be considered)

Active California license required

Minimum 2 years of experience

DEA required

Case logs required: 25 general cases + 5 OR cases

Robotics experience/certification required

Credentialing: 60–90 days
