General Surgery Opportunity
Coverage Type: Weekend call only
Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
Setting: Hospital | Inpatient, OR, and call
EMR: Epic

Highlights
• Weekend-only schedule allowing flexibility during the week
• Opportunity to assist on complex surgical cases including Whipple procedures and liver resections
• Collaborative team with 4–5 surgeons and APP support

Work Details
Responsibilities include first assisting in OR cases, rounding with the surgical team on approximately 30+ high-acuity patients, managing new consults and admissions, and taking inpatient and consult calls. Case volume averages about one OR case per weekend. Surgical bookings are coordinated through the attending surgeon on call.

Requirements
Board Certified in General Surgery
Active Georgia license required
BLS required
DEA required
Open to new graduates

Credentialing timeframe approximately 120 days with potential to expedite to 90 days.
