Job description

Surgical Oncology locum opportunity in Atlanta, GA available focused on weekend call coverage at a large hospital system.

Schedule:
• Weekend call only
• Friday 5p – Monday 8a
• 24-hour call coverage
• Start: July 2026
• Ongoing assignment

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• Inpatient, OR, and call coverage
• First assist for OR cases including Whipple procedures, liver resections, and exploratory laparotomies
• Rounding on 30+ high-acuity surgical patients
• Approximately 1 OR case per weekend
• EMR: Epic
• Team support from multiple surgeons and APPs

Requirements:
• Board Certified General Surgery (Surgical Oncology BE accepted)
• Active GA license (licensing not available)
• DEA required
• BLS required
• Open to new grads

Credentialing: Approximately 90–120 days
