Weekend Call Only – Surgical Oncology Coverage - Georgia

Job description

Seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon with interest or experience in Surgical Oncology for a locum tenens opportunity. This is a weekend call-only role with ongoing coverage needs.

Details:
Start Date: July 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Schedule: Friday 5pm – Monday 8am (24-hour call coverage)
Ongoing assignment
Inpatient + OR + consult coverage

EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
First assist in OR (including ex-laps, Whipple procedures, liver resections – open & robotic)
Round on high-acuity inpatients 
Handle new consults and admissions
Coordinate care with surgical team and APP support
Weekend call coverage for inpatient and consult services

Requirements:
Board Certified in General Surgery
Active GA license required
BLS & DEA required
Open to new grads
