The facility features a 52-bed department dedicated to delivering advanced oncological care, supported by a robust credentialing process that may be expedited for providers with a clean history.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Surgery - Complex General Surgical Oncology, Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide complex general surgical oncology services with up to 20 patient encounters per shift
• Perform required adult general surgery procedures in a locum tenens capacity
• Perform laparoscopic surgery including preferred procedures such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen fundoplication
• Hysterectomy procedures preferred
• Ventilation management experience preferred
• Chest tube insertion and central line insertion experience preferred
• PA catheter placement experience preferred
• Vascular access devices, AV shunt, and peripheral vascular procedures preferred
• Laser certification preferred
• Must hold an active Washington State medical license or IMLC license
• Board certification required (minimum certified level)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Fellowship training required
• Credentialing timeframe is 90-120 days; clean history may qualify for expedited privileges
• Nearest major airport is Seattle-Tacoma International (SEA-TAC)
