Cardiothoracic APP needed in Pasadena, CA

Hello, this is Alisha, Senior Principal Recruiter at Aya Locums. I'm reaching out today about a new Cardiothoracic APP needed in Pasadena. Note: this is for pre and post-op outpatient care.

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing, 4/28 ideal start
Shift Details: 8a-5p, M-F

Work Details:
· Support Staff: 3 MDs, 2 front office, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 medical assistants
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time, Monday-Friday
· Patients per day: 35-40/ week. Varies on day. Mondays are generally slower while Tuesdays are typically the busiest day
· Patient Population/Age: All ages
· Department Description: Outpatient clinic. Provider will be supporting 3 cardiac surgeons with pre-post op patient care. PA will autonomously perform sutures, wound care. No invasive or surgical procedures performed in clinic. This role will be 60% administrative and 40% clinical.
· EMR: EPIC
