Cardiovascular Surgery NP/PA – EVH + First Assist – Roanoke, VA

Job description

Locum PA needed for a full-time cardiothoracic surgery role in Roanoke. This position is 100% OR-focused with no call, supporting standard/open cardiac procedures and thoracic cases. Robotics preferred but not required.

Key Points
• Start Date: 2/23/2026
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–3p
• Responsibilities include RNFA / SFA – EVH experience, cardiac and thoracic first assist
• Procedures: CABG, septal myectomy, vein harvesting (EVH), thoracic support
• Must be proficient in EVH (McKay platform)
• Must be able to harvest from the patient’s left side (dealbreaker)
• Robotic or minimally invasive experience helpful but not required
• EMR: Epic
• VA license - willing to license
• Full travel and lodging covered
• Credentialing: 100–120 days
