📢PA Cardiothoracic Surgery need – California

📍 Location: Santa Monica, CA
📅 Start Date: ASAP
📆 Contract: Through 10/01/2026
🕒 Schedule: Full-time coverage starting in May. Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm (clinic/hospital). Flexible scheduling may be considered, but provider must be available at least 3–4 days per week. Call is 1:2 rotation with another PA, including weekday call (3pm–7am) and weekend call (Friday 3pm–Monday 7am). Callbacks are light (approx. 1–2 times/month).

Patient Population: Adult cardiothoracic patients
🏥 Practice Setting: Hospital-based (clinic located within hospital; mix of OR assist, rounding, and clinic in the same day)
🧪 Procedures: OR assist, ICU/step-down management, radical & endoscopic vein harvesting, ECMO, IABP, Impella, interpretation of EKGs, X-rays, and labs

✅ Additional Information:

Active California license required
Highly prefer 3–5 years of experience
Support staff available
5–8 patients per shift
EMR: Epic
