PA- Cardiothoracic Surgery - South Carolina

Job description

M-F, 6a-2p (8hr GT), OT after 8 hours daily **We need someone for at least 3 weeks out of the month – this provides consistency.
Call: 5% on weekdays, 75% weekends (ER Call primarily)
Patient Population: Adults ONLY
Office/Clinic = 10%, Hospital = 90%
Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient/Acute Care
Daily Caseload: 10 patient per day - 5 Admissions, 5 ICU, 4 Surgeries
Support Staff: 4 physicians, 7 mid-levels
EMR: Epic
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Required Skills:
Must be able to harvest vein and first assist surgeon on all open heart cases, suturing, and pre/post op surgical care
