Aya Locums is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon (MD/DO) to provide 24-hour call coverage at a facility in Idaho. This opportunity offers a dynamic surgical environment, exposure to complex cardiac cases, and the chance to collaborate with an experienced cardiovascular team.

• Start Date: July 2026
• Contract Length: Ongoing coverage (7 consecutive 24-hour call shifts)
• Schedule: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Shift Type: Standard call schedule

Work Details
• Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Patient Volume: Average of 1–2 surgeries per day
• Skills Required: Expertise or strong interest in complex coronary cases, ECMO, postoperative management, valve repair/replacement, minimally invasive procedures, or complex aortic surgery
• Additional Scope: Thoracic surgery and atrial fibrillation procedures included
• Support Staff: Established cardiovascular surgical and clinical care team

Requirements
• License: Active Idaho medical license required
• Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery (MD or DO)
• Certifications: CSR and DEA required
• Experience: Strong clinical background in cardiothoracic surgical care preferred
