The facility provides strong support for surgeons and maintains high standards of patient care in both inpatient and OR settings.

Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:
• Provide first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
• Perform OR duties as well as telemetry and ICU responsibilities
• Handle surgical CT procedures, vein harvest, and chest tube placement
• Manage call duties including 1-2 call days per week
• Cover one weekend per month from 7 am Friday to 7 am Monday
• Conduct weekend inpatient rounds, procedures, and surgery duties
• Must maintain Kentucky state license and board certification
• Required certifications include ACLS, DEA, and BLS
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• Must be able to complete credentialing process (90-110 days)
• Self-Query NPDB report required within 30 days of presentation
• Coverage needed for specific dates: May 31-June 13, 2026, July 20-26
• June 6-8, 2026 coverage is critical

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
