Thoracic Oncologic Surgery Locums Opportunity | Minnesota

Job description

Seeking a Thoracic Surgeon for a 13-week locums assignment beginning August 2026.

• 40 hours/week
• Mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts
• 2 clinic days, 2 OR/procedure days, and 1 flexible/admin day weekly
• Shared call schedule
• Adult thoracic oncology patient population
• Hospital-based practice setting

Case Mix Includes:
• Minimally invasive thoracic surgery
• Robotic thoracic surgery
• VATS procedures
• Advanced bronchoscopy
• Endoscopic lung & esophageal procedures
• Thoracic oncology surgical care involving lung, mediastinal, pleural, and chest wall disease

Requirements:
• Board Certified Thoracic Surgery
• Active Minnesota license
• Active DEA
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Thoracic Oncology fellowship preferred
• Robotic surgery experience preferred
