Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery PA-C to provide locum coverage during a planned leave of absence
• Must be proficient in the OR as a first assist and in vein harvesting - this is a firm requirement and deal breaker
• Responsibilities include assisting in OR for cardiothoracic cases including vein harvesting
• Required to cover night call, including phone calls and any emergent OR cases
• EMR system used is EPIC - experience is highly preferred
• Nebraska state license required or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand)
• Board Certification is required
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred
• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days; facility will work toward emergency privileges when possible
• Completed credentialing application must be returned to facility within 48 hours of receipt
• Availability must be confirmed at time of name clear
• Coverage dates include specific blocks in July and August - please inquire for full schedule details
