The facility features 20 operating rooms, utilizes EPIC as its documentation system, and provides strong ancillary support including a team of three physician assistants.

Physician - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage for gaps in call coverage
• Hospital-based rounding practice setting
• 24-hour call shifts with 10-14 days of call coverage needed per month
• Average of 1 case per day
• Level 2 Trauma designation facility with 20 operating rooms
• Documentation via EPIC (experience preferred)
• Support staff includes 3 physician assistants
• Adult patient population
• Required procedures include:
  
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
  • Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery)
  • Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without Heart Valve Surgery)
  • Pericardial Window
  • Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
  • Mitral Valve Repair
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Board Certification and Fellowship Training required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Self-Query NPDB pulled within 30 days of presentation required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days; emergency privileging will be considered
• Lodging accommodations available at approximately $150/night; all other travel booked at standard/economy rates
