The facility features 20 operating rooms, utilizes EPIC as its documentation system, and is supported by a dedicated ancillary team including 3 PAs, offering a strong and collaborative environment for locum providers.

Job Details:

• Locum Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage needed for gap coverage in call schedule
• Hospital-based rounding practice setting
• 24-hour call shifts required
• 10-14 days of call coverage needed per month
• Average of 1 case per day
• Level 2 Trauma designation
• 20 operating rooms on site
• Documentation via EPIC EMR
• Adult patient population
• Required procedures include: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Arterial Revascularization (using internal mammary arteries, radial artery, and gastroepiploic artery), Redo Coronary Revascularization (with or without Heart Valve Surgery), Pericardial Window, Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery, and Mitral Valve Repair
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Board Certification required
• Fellowship Training required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be available to cover the specific dates listed in the posting
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 30 days; emergency privileging will be considered
• Lodging reimbursement available at approximately $150/night
• All other travel bookings approved at standard/economy rates
