Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in Ogden, Utah
A respected Level II Trauma Center in Ogden, Utah is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery physician for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This opportunity offers a manageable call schedule, a broad mix of cardiac and thoracic cases, and the ability to work independently in a supportive hospital environment.

Opportunity Details:
Schedule:
- 24-hour call coverage only

Practice Setting:
- Inpatient
- Level II Trauma Center

Case Types:
- Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery
- Approximately 3-5 consults per week
- 1-3 surgeries per week
- Typically 1 cardiac case per week
- 2-3 thoracic cases per week
- Average patient census of 10-12 patients per week
- Physician must be comfortable performing cases independently without NP assistance

EMR:
- Meditech
Credentialing:
- 45-60 days

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery
- Active Utah Medical License required at presentation
- Active Utah DEA required
- Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) candidates will be considered
