Aya Locums is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide scheduled coverage within a hospital-based Cardiothoracic Surgery department in Wisconsin. This assignment offers the opportunity to care for adult patients alongside a skilled clinical team while managing a low-volume caseload and performing a variety of cardiothoracic procedures.

• Start Date: November 2026
• Coverage Type: Scheduled coverage — no call
• Shift Schedule: Standard night shifts
• Shift Times: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Work Details
• Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Patient Volume: Low volume
• Patient Age Group: Adult
• Support Staff: NPs and clinical staff
• EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
• Special Procedures: Typical cardiothoracic surgeries
• Specific Skills: Comfort managing aortic dissections and performing thoracic surgery, as needed

• Inpatient hospital setting

• Scheduled coverage only
Requirements
• Provider Type: MD/DO
• Board Certification: Required
• Fellowship Training: Required
• Minimum Experience: Five years
• State License: Wisconsin required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• IMLC Candidates: Welcome
• IMLC/Compact Licensure: Accepted
