Job description

This locum tenens Trauma Surgery opportunity offers a flexible weekday schedule in a high-acuity inpatient setting with consistent monthly coverage needs and a collaborative trauma team environment.

Schedule
3 days per week
6:30a–4:30p shifts
Weekday clinical coverage only
Flexible scheduling for additional weekday pickup shifts

Assignment Details
Level II Trauma Center
Inpatient trauma surgery setting
12 patients per shift
Ongoing coverage need through January 2026
EPIC EMR

Clinical Environment
Trauma surgery inpatient management
Collaborative APP and physician support structure
High-acuity hospital setting with steady patient volume
Strong fit for providers comfortable in fast-paced surgical environments

Requirements
BC or truly BE required
Active California license required
Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience required
DEA required
BLS and ACLS required
