We are seeking an APP Trauma Surgery provider for an ongoing assignment in San Diego, California.

Start Date: November 2026
Contract Length: 3 months with the chance for an extension

Schedule:
• 12-hour day shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Monday – Sunday
• Weekend availability required
• 30-minute lunch break
• Holiday coverage is required
Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Assignment Details:
• Daily inpatient rounding
• Daily progress note documentation
• Patient evaluations and ongoing clinical management
• Discharges and discharge planning
• Care coordination
• General clinical support for the trauma service as needed
• Managing a fast-paced and variable-acuity inpatient trauma population
• Patient volume: Up to 15 patients per day
License: Active California License Required
Requirements:
• Acute Care certification required
• Trauma experience required
• Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred
• Current California Physician Assistant (PA) OR Nurse Practitioner (NP) license
• Current NCCPA certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current ACLS certification
Credentialing: Approximately +30 days
Travel: Airfare, lodging, and car rental will be covered.
