Shift: Night Shift (NOC) 19:00 – 07:30

Position Overview
Operating as an Inpatient Trauma Nocturnist, you will manage complex surgical patients with high autonomy while collaborating with 24/7 on-site Trauma Surgeons and a robust APP cohort.
Clinical Responsibilities
Trauma & Emergency Surgery: Deliver comprehensive TACS services, including assessments, diagnostic interpretation, and acute treatment plans for trauma and emergency general surgery (EGS) patients.
Inpatient Management: Primarily manage high-acuity patients across the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), stepdown units, and trauma floors.
Surgical Support: Assist trauma surgeons with bedside procedures and stabilization during surgical emergencies.
Documentation & Safety: Ensure 100% compliance with medical staff bylaws and safety standards using Epic EMR.
Leadership & Growth: Participate in the Office of Advanced Practice (OAP) for dedicated APP mentorship, leadership development, and involvement in clinical committees.
Submission & Experience Requirements
Experience: Minimum two (2) years of trauma surgery experience OR completion of a Surgical APP Fellowship is highly preferred. (No fresh graduates).
Education/Cert: Graduate of an accredited NP program (Master’s degree). Board Certification by ANCC or AANPCB is [REQUIRED].
Licensure: Unrestricted Colorado State License (or multi-state compact) in hand.
