Trauma Surgery NP/PA Needed in Columbia, SC:
Start Date: Nov 2026 or as soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing 1099
Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Schedule: 11-hour day shifts, 7 AM–6 PM
Coverage: Scheduled hours with no call
Scheduling: Minimum of 3 consecutive shifts; 7 shifts in a row/7-on, 7-off schedule preferred
Patient Volume: Approximately 10–12 patients per day
Patient Population: Primarily adults with occasional pediatric patients
Work Details: Primarily adult trauma surgery; provider will participate in receiving trauma transfers from other facilities
Burns: Transferred out
EMR: Epic experience required
Trauma Surgery required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
License: Active South Carolina license strongly preferred; client indicates they can consider licensing, but this significantly increases the credentialing timeline
Background: Clean background required
Credentialing: Approximately 60 days with an active SC license; 90–120 days without
Travel: All travel billable
Vaccinations: Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted. COVID-19 vaccine not required
