Trauma Surgeon Needed in Vancouver, WA | Nights Only | No Call | 450-Bed Level II Trauma Center

Job description

Start: October 9, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: Approximately 26 weeks; coverage is for specific gap dates in October and November
Coverage: Trauma and emergency general surgery, inpatient and OR
Schedule: Nights only, 17:00-07:00 (14-hour shifts)
Call: No call
Volume: 12-30 patients per day; average daily census approximately 20
Patient Population: Adults
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital, 450-bed Level II trauma center; inpatient and OR, hospital privileges only, no clinic

Support: Level II trauma coverage in place; provider is not working solo. Trauma and emergency general surgery. Inpatient rounding and admissions. Operative coverage as indicated. Timely documentation in Epic.

Requirements
- Board Certified in Trauma Surgery - General Surgery residency with Surgical Critical Care fellowship
- Case list within the past 24 months documenting at least 100 critical care patients
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Washington license required and must be in hand at time of presentation - IMLC not accepted
- DEA and Washington CSR required
- ATLS and ACLS required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
