Facility:
This is a Level 2 trauma center providing comprehensive surgical and trauma services to the surrounding region. The facility offers a dynamic clinical environment with strong support for locum providers and ongoing coverage needs through Summer 2027.

Physician - Surgery - Trauma
Job Details:
- Provide acute care and trauma surgery coverage with approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
- Night shift coverage required (7pm - 7am), 12-hour shifts
- Approximately 15 shifts per month on a long-term, ongoing basis through Summer 2027
- Inpatient and outpatient coverage in a clinic and hospital setting
- Trauma surgeons may flex down to acute care coverage as needed
- November shifts are priority; providers must be extremely responsive with paperwork to be privileged in time
- Active Washington State license or IMLC required
- Board certification required (BC only)
- ACLS and ATLS certifications required
- DEA required
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
- Required surgical skills include: General Surgery (Adult and Neonate), Trauma Surgery
- Laparoscopic surgery required including: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, and Hernioplasty
- Ventilation management, chest tube insertion, central line insertion, and PA catheter placement required
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
