General Surgery/Acute Care Surgery opportunity available in Washington
Assignment Length: Current need through October 31, 2026
Expected Start Date: October 2026
FTE: 0.5
Schedule: 12-hour and 24-hour call shifts

Additional Details:

12-hour call shifts: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
24-hour call shifts also available
Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. shifts are restricted in-house call
Weekend and holiday 12-hour or 24-hour shifts are unrestricted call
Must respond by phone within 10 minutes and remain within 30 minutes of the hospital
Inpatient hospital coverage at a 193-bed tertiary hospital
Level III Trauma Center
Responsibilities include rounding and admissions
Provider will work independently during nights and weekends
Surgical PA support available Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Epic EMR; proficient users preferred
Level III Trauma procedures required
Specific dates are not currently available; please provide your current availability so the schedule can be coordinated

Licensure: Active Washington medical license required
Requirements: General Surgery/Acute Care Surgery experience and recent experience managing Level III Trauma cases
Certifications: ACLS required
Case Logs: Documentation of at least 100 surgical cases from the previous 24 months is required. The case list must include the diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where each case was performed.
