Job description

Seeking MD/DO Acute Care Surgery – Trauma physicians for a 6-month assignment in Bellingham, WA.

Start: ASAP
Schedule: 12 hours onsite + 12 hours backup call
Coverage: Days and nights, up to 6 shifts/week
Setting: Hospital | 241 beds
Patient Volume: Approximately 24 patients/day
Patient Population: Acute Care Surgery & Trauma patients across the ED, OR, and ICU
Practice: Daytime APC support; solo overnight
Responsibilities: Rounding, admissions, and all Trauma/Acute Care Surgery procedures
Requirements: BC/BE in Surgery, ATLS
Trauma Experience: 50 documented trauma cases within the last 5 years
EMR: Epic
License: Active WA license highly preferred due to the expedited start
