Urology APP Locums Opportunity – Longview, WA

Location: Longview, WA
Assignment Length: 26 Weeks
Start Date: June/July or ASAP
Coverage Need: 1.0 FTE

Schedule

* Monday–Friday
* 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
* 8-hour day shifts

Position Details

Facility is seeking an APP provider for ongoing urology coverage through 12/31/26 due to a gap in coverage.

Preferred Provider Type

* Nurse Practitioner preferred, as the provider may work independently without a supervising physician
* Surgical PA candidates will also be considered

* Surgical PAs will assist with surgeries and inpatient rounding
* Non-surgical PAs will work clinic-only

Practice Setting

* Coverage includes both:

* Medical Center
* Urology Clinic (located approximately 1 mile away)
* Both hospital and clinic privileges required
* Inpatient and outpatient setting
* Facility Size: 122 beds
* Patient Population: Ages 17+
* Average Patients Per Day: 18

Clinical Responsibilities

* Annual follow-up visits and medication refills
* Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
* Manage kidney stones
* Treat male incontinence
* Perform cystoscopies
* Surgical assisting
* Standard urology procedures in both clinic and OR settings

Requirements

* Active Washington license required at time of presentation
* IMLC not accepted at this time
* Facility can offer fast-track or urgent credentialing
* Provider must have recent clinical activity within the past 24 months

* Case logs/documentation required demonstrating scope and complexity of requested privileges
* BLS and ACLS required

* Certifications must be through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Team Structure

* NP providers may work independently
* PAs will work alongside supervising MD/DO physicians
