Urology NP Needed in Truckee, CA

Job description

* Start: November 2026
* Contract Length: Approximately 6 months (through April 2027)
* Candidate must be available for the **entire assignment**
* Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
* 4 days per week
* Mix of outpatient and inpatient care (primarily outpatient)

Practice Details:

* 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
* Level III Trauma Center
* 3 operating rooms
* Adult urology patient population
* Average of **13–16 patients per day**
* EMR: Epic
* Support includes Medical Director/Urologist, 2 RNs, Medical Assistants, and Surgery Schedulers
* General Urology practice
* Telephonic first call likely required (no in-house call or response time requirement)

Requirements:

* Nurse Practitioner only (PAs not accepted)
* Board Certified
* Active California license required
* DEA, BLS, and ACLS required
* Urology experience required
* Comfortable managing both outpatient and inpatient urology patients

Credentialing:

* Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
* Client strongly prefers providers who already hold an active California license due to the credentialing timeline
