Position: Nurse Practitioner – Urology
Location: California
Start Date: November 2026
End Date: April 2027
Contract Length: ~6 months

📅 Assignment Details
Schedule: Monday – Thursday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coverage: 4 days/week

📌 Must be available for the full assignment (Nov–April)

🏥 Practice Setting
Facility: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (Level III Trauma)
Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient (primarily outpatient)
EMR: Epic
🩺 Work Details
Patient Volume: 13–16 patients/day
Patient Population: Adult

Responsibilities Include:

Managing general urology patients
Outpatient clinic care and some inpatient support
Documentation and care coordination

📌 May include telephonic first call
📌 No in-house call or response time requirement

Support Staff:

Medical Director/Urologist
2 RNs
Medical Assistants
Surgery schedulers

General urology
Outpatient-focused with some inpatient coverage
✅ Requirements
Provider Type: NP ONLY (no PAs)
Board Certification: Required
License: Active CA license REQUIRED (highly preferred at submission)
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS & ACLS
Experience:
Urology experience required
Comfortable managing outpatient and inpatient urology patients

60–90 days
