Job Description:
The Nurse Practitioner will:
• Assist the Urology surgeon in diagnosing and treating urologic conditions
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment and care plans
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Assist in urologic surgeries and office-based procedures
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans
• Manage post-operative and follow-up care
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
• Adhere to universal precautions and OSHA bloodborne pathogen standards
• Work in an environment with potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
• Perform duties requiring manual dexterity, patient handling, and clinical documentation
• Support departmental operations alongside LPNs, medical assistants, and clerical staff
• Practice under a supervising physician in a physician office setting

• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases
• Work near moving mechanical parts – Up to 1/3
• Exposure to fumes or airborne particles – Up to 1/3
• Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals – Up to 1/3
• Noise level: Quiet to Moderate
• OSHA Category I tasks involve exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• Universal precautions required

Compensation and Benefits:
• $115,000 – $135,000 annually
• Pay range provided in compliance with Vermont Act 155
• Final compensation determined based on experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness
• Full-time (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week)
• No weekends or holidays
• Daytime schedule
