Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Urology
Rutland, Vermont
Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a hospital-owned urology practice within a respected community hospital.
This is a hospital-employed opportunity offering an independent patient panel, strong physician collaboration, and an excellent work-life balance.
Position Highlights
Full-time, Monday-Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM schedule
No weekend office hours
No OR assist responsibilities
Opportunity to participate in first-call coverage
Approximately 20 patients per day

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic urologic conditions
Perform histories and physicals
Order and interpret diagnostic studies
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Educate and counsel patients
Maintain accurate documentation
Support quality and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
For All Candidates:
Minimum 2 years of urology experience as an NP or PA
Board Certified
Must have practiced clinically within the past 3 years
Vermont license (or ability to obtain)
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently within a team-based model
