Advanced Practitioners - Urological Surgery
Job Details:
- Join a dynamic inpatient urology team as a Physician Assistant
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and round at the hospital
- Oversee consults and contribute to urology procedures
- Work collaboratively with urologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial treatment plans
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to specialists and other healthcare team members
- Identify problems outside scope of practice and refer appropriately to physicians
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with no call required
- Travel between sites is required but fully reimbursed
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
- Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP certified) credentials required
- 2+ years of urology experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
